“It is time to lead from the heart”

- Grace Lucky -

Who am I?

I am an adventurous human being, eager to learn and explore and a real people person. I was born and raised in the Netherlands, but due to having lived and worked internationally I developed a preference for writing in English. Somehow the words come easier and it feels more natural.

I am driven to live (by) my life purpose and contribute to a more peaceful and conscious world, where everyone is feeling happy, healthy, at ease and (most importantly) empowered to be their true selves.

But, there have been times that my focus was elsewhere. Somewhere along the way I got caught up by the hamster wheel of studying more, working harder, aiming for better and higher, while never really enjoying where I was or being satisfied with what I already achieved.

Working at a corporate, doing a post-master, travelling for work, doing sports, seeing friends & family, joining the Friday drinks, and going on weekend trips in between. While being the insecure overachiever, perfectionist, taking too much responsibility and being loyal to others, I let myself down big time, which resulted in a burnout. My body, mind and soul could no longer stand the rat race. Completely disconnected from myself, feelings and needs, I ended up being fully exhausted, and my body literally stopped me.

Almost instantly I felt the urge of taking responsibility for this and start an inner journey. A journey which I called back then ‘The Lucky Project’. Thanks to strong commitment towards myself, deep inner work started. I reconnected with my body again, I got to know the real me (behind the CV) and excitedly entered the world of meditation, yoga and spirituality and I read piles of books. Though a tough one, looking back, my burnout has been a present.

Along the way I fell in love with the concept of consciousness, and knew I needed to share this with others. I could no longer ignore my inner voice and I decided to start my own business, Meanwhile, I followed a (business) coachings programme, I did a study in Consciousness Development and followed multiple workshops and courses on topics including coaching, consciousness, positive intelligence, mindset and conscious (self)leadership.

My life changed - rollercoaster mode - into a complete new setting and focus. The end of 2020 I started 1:1 and group coaching in conscious leadership. Then, the adventure bug kicked-in again, and in spring 2021 I sold my stuff, bought myself a car and moved to the Portuguese coastline where I gradually started shifting my focus to female entrepreneurs. In February 2022, dear friend and accountability partner Adele Heibel and myself started the non-profit the soulpreneurs collective, a collective for female entrepreneurs who lead from the heart and are looking for a space to connect, get inspired and grow.

That decision launched me into the world of supporting and mentoring female entrepreneurs in their journey, nourishing the foundation: themselves. Early 2023 I also started female entrepreneur retreats. That’s where my dream of bringing entrepreneurs together in a creative setting became reality. The BIG dream is still to build my own space and provide entrepreneurs with a peaceful, inspiring set-up surrounded by nature to allow their creativity to flow freely, which will unfold whenever the time is right.

So, this is where my intuitive decision-making brought me and I am super grateful to bring amazing women together and to be able to help others on their journey.

Time to lead from the heart. Are you ready?

The Lucky Pillars.

Under the umbrella of consciousness, I integrate three pillars in everything I offer and create: intuition, adventure, nature. The pillars are aligned with my own journey, and connect to my mission to ‘lead from the heart’.

The Lucky Project.

The reason I decided to call my business ‘The Lucky Project’ is threefold:

1.     Lucky:
As you might have figured out by now. my second name is Lucky. I felt like it to be time to live by it, embrace it, feel it and help others finding it within.

2.     [Project]:
Noun /ˈprɒdʒɛkt/: [a piece of planned work or an activity that is finished over a period of time and intended to achieve a particular purpose] (Cambridge dictionary)

I believe we are all masterpieces in progress and that we are here on earth with a specific mission and purpose. With that in mind, I look upon life as one adventurous ‘project’.

3.     The Lucky Project:
When I started my personal burnout coaching sessions, my coach asked me to name my journey. Almost instantly I heard this inner voice saying: ‘The Lucky Project’. Now I know it was my intuition, giving me a crystal clear and inspiring purpose for myself to discover inner luck (again) and play the game of life. And soon I figured – while working towards more self-love - that it could not have been more empowering than being your own number one sponsor.

So basically…it’s all in the name.

On paper.

Though I am not a big fan of introducing myself by means of my CV, I do believe it explains where I am coming from.

Thus:
